ESM 500

The ESM 500 is an excellent transmission for modern main battle tanks. It has five forward and two reverse gears. It is also equipped with a high-performance braking system with secondary retarder and carbon friction brakes. Developed and produced by RENK, the ESM 500 was mass-produced for the French LECLERC main battle tank.
