RENK’s dual-engine marine gear units are the dependable choice for ships that have high overall output requirements on the one hand, and that are frequently operated under a partial load on the other hand. The dual-engine marine gear units can be used for propulsion with diesel motors in CODAD (COmbined Diesel And Diesel) systems as well as with gas turbines in COGAG (COmbined Gas turbine And Gas turbine) systems. We also use our dual-engine gearboxes as combining gearboxes for complex combined propulsion systems.
Similar to our Single-In/Single-Out gearbox families, the ASL2X and BSL2X gearboxes are very adaptable to any customer requirements. We offer multiple options to meet every customer requirement.
